Introduction to Cultural Safety Training

This session is for teams who want to build  foundational knowledge and practical tools to better serve, work alongside and build partnerships with Indigenous peoples and communities. 

It introduces the practice of Indigenous Cultural Safety as a safety initiative for teams and organizations.

Key learning outcomes:

• Defining key Indigenous terms and culturally safe ways to use these terms

• Discussing the origins of anti-Indigenous racism in colonial Canada

• Assembling pragmatic strategies for embedding Indigenous cultural safety into organizations
